PENNSYLVANIA

Pennsylvania is the home of Gettysburg - the site of the bloodiest battle in the American Civil War.

The historic battleground sets a poignant backdrop as Craig's race across America nears its end,

Together with Gettysburg, Craig will ride through large Amish and Mennonite communities in rural part of the state on his way to Maryland - the final stage of the Race Across America.

By the time he reaches Pennsylvania, Craig will have travelled 4,660km (2,896 miles), with only the shortest rest breaks imaginable, across 10 states.

He will have crossed deserts, mountain passes and sprawling great plains, crossing America at race speed on two wheels only.

There's now just one state to go to the finish line: Maryland.
